Dominic Walsh Dance Theatre joins Ballet Quad Cities for a magical holiday experience.  The 24 professional dancers and a community cast of 40 will take you on a spell binding journey through an icy winter wonderland and finally to the Kingdom of the Sweets where dancers from exotic places will entertain you. Johanne Jakhelln’s Romeo and Juliet comes to life again along with other favorite ballets from our extensive repertoire. The sweetness of love’s first kiss is poisoned by the violence of the city streets. In this dramatic modern-day retelling of Shakespeare’s classic play. Jakhelln challenges our perception of Prokofiev’s classic score with her bold and jazzy choreography. We round out the performance with new choreography by Deanna Carter, Margaret Huling and Erica Attwood.

Peter and the Wolf & Other Dances
