Allegra Holland
Allegra first stood at the ballet barre when she was 10 years old. She grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and attended Dayspring School of the Arts. She received scholarships at Joffrey NY and as a trainee at Ballet West. Over the years she has been privileged to learn from Gelsey Kirkland, Pilar Garcia, Gen Horiuchi, Mary Price Boday and Brian Enos.
Allegra also spent summers with Boston Ballet, Ameri...can Ballet Theatre and Ballet Magnificat. She has performed with and worked for St. Louis Ballet, City Ballet of San Diego, Lexington Ballet and Oklahoma City Ballet. As well as being cast in productions such as Balanchine’s Serenade, Balanchine’s Rubies, Robert Mills’ Romeo & Juliet and Jacob Sparso’s Cinderella. She is so thankful for all her teachers and fellow dancers who have helped and encouraged her along the way; her OKCB family and her relentlessly supportive parents. This will be Allegra’s second season with Ballet Quad Cities and she feels extremely blessed to be a part of it.
