Branson began his journey with dance at the age of 13 at The Culture House Performing Arts Academy, where he received extensive training in dance, theatre, classical mime, stunts and combat, voice, and music.
He received a scholarship to the University of Missouri-Kansas City, (UMKC), where he continued his training in Classical Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, and Choreography. He performed with many companies during his time as a student, including the Kansas City Ballet, The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Williams Henry, Storling Dance Theater, and Dramatic Truth Ballet.
Branson graduated with a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts from UMKC in the spring of 2015, and soon after joined Ballet Quad Cities. Branson is excited to be back for a second season with the company.
