Meghan Phillips
Meghan E. Phillips, originally from California, started dancing at the age of three. She studied dance at several studios growing up in California, Virginia, and Florida before joining South Dayton Dance Theater, an RDA affiliated pre-professional company in Dayton, Ohio under the direction of Gigi Gardner and Erin Long-Robbins. Meghan recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase College in NY with a BFA in Dance Performance and concentration in ballet. There she performed in works by Michelle Thompson Ulerich, Stuart Loungway, Brian Enos and Taryn Kaschock-Russel, as well as George Balanchine’s Four Temperaments and Concerto Barocco. She was also afforded the opportunity to study abroad for a semester at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, where she performed choreography by Kim McCarthy and Graeme Murphy. This is Meghan’s first season with Ballet Quad Cities and she is excited to begin her professional career with such an inspirational and welcoming company.
