Brittany Waggy

Apprentice

Brittany Waggy apprentice, a native of Denver Colorado, received her training at the International Ballet School in Littleton, Colorado.  Under the direction of Mark Carlson, German Zamuel, Sandra Carlson, and Valentina Moukhanova she received such honors as being a finalist at Youth America Grand Prix, as well as a finalist and scholarship winner at the Denver Ballet Guild.  Miss Waggy attended intensive summer programs, on scholarship, at Boston Ballet, Colorado Ballet, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. In 2006, Miss Waggy was invited to join Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s Graduate Program where she performed roles in PBT’s Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, and the North American premier of Derek Dean’s Alice in Wonderland.  Miss Waggy is joined by her fiancé, Patrick DesRosiers, both of whom look forward to their first season at Ballet Quad Cities.
