Margaret Huling

Margaret Huling, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, began her dance training with Ballet Arts School of Dance. Margaret has studied dance at Western Michigan University and received her BFA from the University Of Cincinnati Conservatory Of Music in 2004. Margaret has participated in summer dance programs including Boston Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Grand Rapids Ballet, and Checchetti Council of America. While attending the university, Ms. Huling was chosen by Dayton Ballet Director Dermot Burke to perform with his company in their 2003 production of Stephen Mill’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Septine Webre’s Peter Pan in 2004.  She is returning for her fourth season with Ballet Quad Cities, where she has enjoyed dancing the “Sugar Plum Fairy” in The Nutcracker, “Anna Bonvolio” in Johanne Jakhelln’s Romeo & Juliet 21st Century and the “Summer Fairy” in Jakhelln’s The Sleeping Beauty.  Along with dancing, Ms. Huling teaches modern and ballet at City Center School of the Arts.
