Meghan Phillips

Meghan E. Philips has studied dance at several studios across the country including South Dayton Dance Theater, an RDA affiliated pre-professional company in Dayton, Ohio under the direction of Gigi Gardner and Erin Long-Robbins. In 2018 she graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Purchase with a BFA in Dance Performance and concentration in ballet. There she performed in works by Michelle Thompson Ulerich, Stuart Loungway, Brian Enos and Taryn Kaschock-Russel, as well as George Balanchine’s Four Temperaments and Concerto Barocco. She was also afforded the opportunity to study abroad for a semester at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts where she performed choreography by Kim McCarthy and Graeme Murphy. Her favorite roles at Ballet Quad Cities include the Sugar Plum Fairy and Mina in Deanna Carter’s Dracula. As a choreographer, Meghan presented On The Night Plainin Manhattan at the 2018 American Dance Guild Festival. Her most recent work, Chasing Chaconne, was performed by Ballet Quad Cities. Meghan is excited to be returning to Ballet Quad Cities for the 2020-2021 season.
