Stephen Scott was born in Tampa, Florida, though quickly moved all across the world due to his father's involvement in the military. He began to dance at age nine and studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and musical theatre at various studios in the southeastern United States. During this time, he also became involved with music and began participating in marching band. Though he didn't quit dancing, marching band introduced him to the world of winter guard, and he continued to dance for all four years of college. Stephen then pursued a music degree in composition at the Master's University. During his time, he spent a summer season marching with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps on the color guard. Stephen now teaches color guard at various schools around the Quad Cities. He is excited to continue performing with Ballet Quad Cities after appearing in The Nutcracker in 2022.
