Madeline Kreszenz

Madeline Kreszenz, originally from Columbus, Ohio, began her training at Columbus Dance Theatre under the direction of Jaime Kotrba and Seth Wilson. She performed in a combination of classical and contemporary ballets and attended summer programs with the Joffrey Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, and Texas Ballet Theater. After attending Kansas City Ballet’s Summer Intensive in 2019, she was invited to join their year round day school program. At Kansas City Ballet, she performed and trained under the leadership of Grace M. Holmes, Racheal Nye, and Artistic Director Devon Carney. After graduating from Kansas City Ballet’s day program in 2021, Madeline joined State Street Ballet in Santa Barbara, CA as a trainee. During her time with State Street Ballet, she learned and performed a wide range of repertoire including The Nutcracker, Paquita, Sleeping Beauty, and various contemporary works by choreographers including William Soleau, Rodney Gustafson, Megan Philipp, Nicole Powell, Edgar Zendajas, and Meredith Ventura. Madeline joined Ballet Quad Cities in 2022 and had a fantastic first year. She performed in a great season of performances including Ballet on the Lawn, Our Will to Live, and Rite of Spring. She was incredibly honored to dance soloist roles such as Chinese in Courtney Lyon’s The Nutcracker and, most notably, Carmen in Lyon’s original production of Carmen. Madeline is incredibly excited to be returning to the company in her second season with Ballet Quad Cities!
